ce7fe42e84 Provide shorter synonyms for wxEVT_XXX constants. 
Use the same short names as are used by the event table macros for the event
type constants themselves. This makes them much more comfortable to use, e.g.
Bind(wxEVT_BUTTON) compared to Bind(wxEVT_COMMAND_BUTTON_CLICKED).

The old long names are still kept for backwards compatibility and shouldn't be
removed as it doesn't really cost anything to continue providing them, but all
new event types should only use the short versions.

Closes #10661.

95316a3f24 Move menu messages handling from wxFrame to wxTLW in wxMSW. 
This allows to generate the menu open/close/highlight events correctly for the
popup menus used in the dialogs.

Extend the menu sample with a test using such menus.

7cee4f7621 No changes, just implement Raise() in wxTopLevelWindow in wxMSW. 
Get rid of two identical implementations in wxFrame and wxDialog and only
override this function once in wxTopLevelWindow.

a1b806b982 Replaced Ok() occurrences with IsOk() throughout trunk. 
Additionally renamed wxOSX' private wxNativePrinterDC::Ok() function to IsOk().

Didn't deprecate the various Ok() functions: given the amount of changes already introduced in 3.0 a trivial one like this seems more suitable for after 3.0.

937013e0fd 1. added wxEvtHandler::SafelyProcessEvent() and wxWindow::HandleWindowEvent() to correctly handle exceptions in even handlers in wxGTK

2158f4d798 moved all wxDialog event handlers to wxDialogBase to avoid code duplication 
(sixplication?) among ports; as a side effect added public wxDialog methods to
wxDialogBase as well and moved EndDialog() (previously implemented by wxMSW,
wxMotif, wxMac and wxCocoa but not the other ports) to wxDialogBase too

0be2741893 centralized Esc key handling for closing the dialogs in wxDialogBase: 
1. added wxDialogBase::OnCharHook() and removed this event handler from
   all the other ports
2. also removed ad hoc code doing the same thing in wxMSW (MSWProcessMessage()
   override in wxDialog) and wxGTK (in gtk_window_key_press_callback())
3. reimplemented EmulateButtonClickIfPresent() portably and also moved it
   to wxDialogBase from wxMSW wxDialog

9ceeecb94e Frames have Ctrl+Q accelerator set automatically, as per the 
PocketPC guidelines
Documented issues in manual under wxWinCE topic.
wxDEFAULT_DIALOG_STYLES rationalised so we can make use of
styles such as wxCLOSE_BOX in future (OK button on titlebar)
Added Set/GetAffirmativeId and DoOK so that titlebar OK button
can be customised

b554cf6371 Added wxNB_FLAT for WinCE property sheet tabs 
Titlebar OK button on PocketPC now looks for OK, Cancel, Close buttons.
Dialog size now takes into account SIP or menubar.
Panels more naturally white on PocketPC.
wxDIALOG_EX_CONTEXTHELP ignored on WinCE since it interferes
with correct titlebar style.

b9691677a0 made default background colour BTNFACE (so that panels don't have to erase their background explicitly); removed now unneeded SetBackgroundColour() in wxDialog which now has default bg colour and restored one in wxFrame which now has a non default one
