Use the actual type of the value, not LongestValueType, for storing
m_min and m_max as this is necessary for the comparisons between the
value and them to work correctly for unsigned types.
Also check for precision loss when converting from the bigger
LongestValueType to the actual type.
Add new unit tests, that failed before, but pass now.
This is necessary in order to deal with the numbers greater than
wxINT64_MAX that can't be represented in just long long.
It also allows to implement the intuitive handling of minus sign for the
unsigned numbers, i.e. not to accept it in FromString(), unlike the
standard functions which do (and parse -1 as 0xffff...fff).
Also extend the tests to check for more boundary cases.
Actual implementation of IsCharOk() didn't correspond to the comments in
it or near the function declaration which stated that it's never called
with ch='-' as argument -- it was called with it and called IsMinusOk()
right before a comment saying that it doesn't need to do it, which was
very confusing.
Fix this by making the behaviour really correspond to the comments and
handling '-' at the base class level. This required introducing a new
pure virtual CanBeNegative() function, but it's going to be useful for
other things later too.
Still keep IsMinusOk() helper, but make it private now because it
doesn't need to be called from the derived class IsCharOk() any longer.
There is just no need to do it manually, when the compiler can do the
job perfectly well itself.
No real changes, but this will simplify the upcoming refactoring.
Add wxRIBBON_ART_PANEL_HOVER_BORDER_COLOUR and
wxRIBBON_ART_PANEL_HOVER_BORDER_GRADIENT_COLOUR to allow further
customization of wxRibbon panels.

Fix missing events for in-document navigation with wxWebViewEdge,
implement Find() for it and add wxEVT_WEBVIEW_FULLSCREEN_CHANGED for it
and wxGTK.
See https://github.com/wxWidgets/wxWidgets/pull/2227
This implementation is based on javascript 'window.find()'
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Window/find
It's not standard, but implemented in most browsers.
It's not a complete implementation as it can't determine how
many search results can be found.
If the backends API provides a native find interface it should be
used instead of this implementation, but it's good fallback.
Send EVT_WEBVIEW_NAVIGATING, EVT_WEBVIEW_NAVIGATED and EVT_WEBVIEW_LOADED
when an anchor is clicked within a document. This kind of navigation
cannot be vetoed.
Fixes: #19074
Remove platform-specific translations.
This is unnecessarily complicated for the single string that we
currently use this for, so just handle it specially.
Also some other minor translation-related improvements.
See https://github.com/wxWidgets/wxWidgets/pull/2213
This will allow reusing the same strings in other places.
Also use this as opportunity to add "msw" as the (preferred) synonym for
"win" for general consistency.
This can be useful to implement custom handling of WM_COMMAND for the
popup menus, so make this function virtual and document it to indicate
that it is now part of the public API.

Simplify things by putting setup.h files themselves under version
control and getting rid of setup0.h ones.
The initial motivation for using separate setup0.h files was to allow
having local changes to setup.h, but with Git there is a simple way to
do it by using "git update-index --skip-worktree include/wx/msw/setup.h"
for example, so we don't really need setup0.h any more and dropping them
makes things simpler.
A single line MSW wxTextCtrl created with a value too long to fit into
it continued showing the value only partially even if its size was
subsequently increased to allow the entire value to be shown.
This apparently happens because changing the native EDIT control size
doesn't affect its (horizontal) scroll offset. Moreover, there doesn't
seem to be any way to explicitly tell the control to update it neither,
except for changing its text.
So do change its text every time its width changes, as long as it is not
visible (because visible jumps in the visible text position could be an
even worse problem than the one we're trying to solve here). This fixes
the originally reported bug at the cost of a bunch of extra calls to
DoWriteText() which should hopefully be not too expensive for single
line controls that don't typically contain that much text.
Closes#18268.
There is no reason to only make it protected for gcc and clang, recent
MSVS versions can also give a warning (C5204, which is disabled by
default, but makes sense to enable) otherwise.
Also remove the comment about obsolete gcc 3.4.5.

It was unexpected that using wxSizerFlags().Right().CentreVertical()
didn't right-align the item because CentreVertical() reset the alignment
in the horizontal direction rather than just setting it in the vertical
one, so change this, document the new behaviour explicitly and add a new
unit test checking for it.
Closes#18989.
As we still support C++98, don't use G_VALUE_INIT as the initializer:
it's a braced-init-list, which is only allowed in C++11.

Get rid of ms_isInitialized as it must be kept synchronized with
ms_loaderDll.IsLoaded() anyhow, and it's simpler to not have it at all
rather than ensuring this.
Also ensure that calling Initialize() again, after doing it first
unsuccessfully, doesn't assert because ms_loaderDll is already loaded,
by only leaving it with a valid handle if the initialization succeeded.

wxGtkValue class was added back in 3f84cb17ca (Add wxActivityIndicator
control., 2015-03-06), but somehow never used. Start using it now
(better late than never...) as it makes the code simpler, shorter and
more robust.
No real changes.
This macro replaces the deprecated __Verify_noErr defined in the SDK.
It is different from assert, as the expression given to the macro is
always evaluated and then, if the result is not zero, and asserts are
on, an assert containing a human readable message with the description
of the error code is triggered.
