7feaa024b3 Add support for code page 1361 (Johab Korean)
As with the previous commit, recognize the system CP1361 encoding, which
can be mapped to an existing wxFONTENCODING_CP1361 constant.

17041075b4 Fix wxLanguageInfo::GetLocaleName()
This function could (and did) return completely wrong results because
the value of the pointer returned by setlocale() could be (and was)
changed by the subsequent call to setlocale() with different arguments.

Fix the problem by copying the returned value into wxString immediately,
without any intervening setlocale() calls.

019e9d041f Fix setting locale under MSW when using locale name
Previously, all MSW-specific stuff like calling SetThreadLocale() and
SetThreadUILanguage() was only done when initializing wxLocale from a
wxLanguage value, but not when using a string name for it.

Fix this by implicitly calling Init(wxLanguage) from Init(wxString) if
we can find the language corresponding to the given name, and if the
other parameter is not incompatible with it.

8cb4e70064 Refactor wxLocale initialization code
Don't call wxSetlocale() in DoInit() any more, this was redundant when
it was called from Init(wxLanguage) overload.

Add new DoCommonPostInit() called from both Init() overloads after
setting the locale in whichever way they do it to avoid code
duplication.

As a side effect of this change, the error message given if the locale
can't be set is the same now independently of the ctor/Init() overload
used (previously it differed depending on whether a wxLanguage or the
name of the language as string was passed) and it's always logged using
wxLogWarning() and not it in one case and wxLogError() in the other one.

2deca99789 Don't duplicate "ret" flag in wxLocale::Init()
Simplify the code by just using "retloc != NULL" as success indicator
until the call to DoInit() instead of keeping a separate "bool ret"
variable in sync with "retloc".

8713d73466 Avoid at least some unnecessary setlocale() calls
Instead of calling wxLanguageInfo::GetLocaleName(), which called
setlocale() at least thrice (first to query the current locale, second
to try to change it and third to restore the original locale) and then
calling setlocale() again if it succeeded, use the new TrySetLocale()
method which calls setlocale() just once and doesn't require calling it
again in the caller.

This makes the code slightly more efficient but, more importantly,
shorter and more clear.

2e2682116f Try to return valid name from MSW wxLanguageInfo::GetLocaleName()
Check if setlocale() really works with the name of the returned locale
and return empty string if it doesn't.

This fixes problem with setting locale when using old MSVC or MinGW CRT
under new (Vista+) MSW versions, as the CRT doesn't support the locale
names returned by LOCALE_SNAME and we need to fall back on
LOCALE_SENGLANGUAGE.

05ced5ce01 Handle stand-alone weekday and month names in macOS date formats
macOS returns "cccc" (stand-alone weekday name) as a part of the

713c3f9d1b Use locale name directly for Windows Vista and later
Instead of combining the language, country and codepage and passing the
resulting string to setlocale(), the locale name can be used instead for
setlocale() on Windows Vista and onwards.

Closes https://github.com/wxWidgets/wxWidgets/pull/358

This fixes a crash that occurs when switching locale from Korean to
Norwegian Bokmål, since the language_country.codepage string resolves to
"Norwegian Bokmål_Norway.1252" and mbstowcs trips up on the non-ASCII
character.

e7194a082f Use correct DLL export declaration for wxLanguageInfoArray
This class is forward declared with WXDLLIMPEXP_FWD_BASE, so it should be
really declated with the matching WXDLLIMPEXP_BASE and not with

create any problems, but still fix this for consistency and because it might

a2e359613e Revert "Remove dynamic loading of SetThreadUILanguage."
This reverts commit c5ce5bf168.

Using SetThreadUILanguage() directly results in compilation errors with MSVC 8,

so keep loading it dynamically for now.

f81d6f68c6 Handle 5+ letter codes in TranslateFromUnicodeFormat()
Unicode TR #35 v26 allows for five-letter (MMMMM) or even six-letter
(EEEEEE) forms of some of the fields, but TranslateFromUnicodeFormat()
asserts in these situations.

Fix it to fall back to short forms for MMMMM and EEEEEE that are used in
practice e.g. on OS X if the user has custom formatting settings.

Consulting the table of sensible specifiers from
http://userguide.icu-project.org/formatparse/datetime, it appears these
two were the only omissions in this function.

9fc78c8167 Add wxLocale::GetOSInfo() and use it in MSW wxDateTimePickerCtrl.
This fixes the size of wxDateTimePickerCtrl in programs that don't set any
specific locale: previously, the standard "%m/%d/%y" format was used for
computing the best size of the control in this case, but this could have been
significantly shorter than the format actually used (compare with the default
"%d %b, %Y"), resulting in the control contents being truncated by default.

GetOSInfo() is currently different from GetInfo() only under MSW, but we might
need to make the same distinction under OS X too, so do make this function
public instead of keeping it MSW-specific.

3f66f6a5b3 Remove all lines containing cvs/svn "$Id$" keyword.
This keyword is not expanded by Git which means it's not replaced with the
correct revision value in the releases made using git-based scripts and it's
confusing to have lines with unexpanded "$Id$" in the released files. As
expanding them with Git is not that simple (it could be done with git archive
and export-subst attribute) and there are not many benefits in having them in
the first place, just remove all these lines.

7582edfbf9 Fix wxLocale::GetInfo() in C locale under Windows.
Don't use LOCALE_USER_DEFAULT when the locale hadn't been changed because the
user default locale often (and maybe even always) is different from "C" locale
used by the CRT resulting in mismatch between the conventions used by
wxDateTime::Format(), which uses the CRT locale, and wxDateTime::Parse(),
which uses Windows format. Instead use the hard-coded values corresponding to
the "C" locale to ensure we use the same values as the CRT in this case.

This also reverts r73244 which was applies to make the unit tests pass before
