1b47b78407 Compilation fix for wxUniv/X11 with wxUSE_STL==1. 
Don't rely on implicit conversion from wxString to wchar_t*.

a1b806b982 Replaced Ok() occurrences with IsOk() throughout trunk. 
Additionally renamed wxOSX' private wxNativePrinterDC::Ok() function to IsOk().

Didn't deprecate the various Ok() functions: given the amount of changes already introduced in 3.0 a trivial one like this seems more suitable for after 3.0.

f18b415ee3 Don't crash on startup of console programs in monolithic wxX11 build. 
When using monolithic build, GUI-specific wxWinModule is still linked in but
its initialization crashes because there is no global display. Simply don't do
anything in this module OnInit() in this case to avoid the problem (which
affected e.g. wxrc in this build configuration).

31b81622d3 Remove X11-specific wxWindowIsVisible() from common Unix file. 
XGetWindowAttributes() used in this function resulted in link problems under
Fedora 14 because we don't explicitly link with libX11. Instead of doing this,
simply get rid of this function as it seems to be used in exactly one place in
wxX11 code only anyhow.

80f4c79642 Fix wxX11 compilation when using PCH. 
wx/unix/utilsx11.h is not included by wx/wxprec.h so we need to include it
when using PCH too.

Closes #12517.

679918f93d Rename wxWindow::GetMainWindow() to X11GetMainWindow() in wxX11. 
This avoids conflicts with GetMainWindow() defined in other wxWindow-derived
classes (such as wxDataViewCtrl and potentially user-defined classes as well).

Closes #11818.

2344c32b7e Implement wxGetActiveWindow() for wxX11. 
Now that wxGetActiveWindow() is used when showing modal dialogs, it became
critical to implement it as otherwise an assert happens every time a dialog is
shown and because creating the assert dialog itself results in another (same)
assert, this immediately results in a crash.

So implement it even if in a very trivial (but hopefully not too incorrect)
way.

9a83f86094 Globally replace _T() with wxT().

43b2d5e7c3 Put braces around all calls to wxLogFunctions() inside an if statement. 
This suppresses all the remaining g++ -Wparentheses warnings and uses consistent style everywhere.

937013e0fd 1. added wxEvtHandler::SafelyProcessEvent() and wxWindow::HandleWindowEvent() to correctly handle exceptions in even handlers in wxGTK 
2. use HandleWindowEvent() everywhere as more obvious and convenient shortcut for GetEventHandler()->ProcessEvent(); also for consistency with wxGTK where it's required

b886fae648 Main change is that we now close X11 display on program exit: as this couldn't 
be done in wxApp dtor (too early), a special module had to be created for it
and module dependencies added for the other modules which have to be cleaned
up while the display is still open.

Also a few minor formatting changes and removed a couple of unused variables
from wxApp.
