6e043ba946 Dismiss wxSplashScreen on any user input, not necessarily on splash itself. 
Use wxEventFilter to remove the splash screen as soon as any user input is
detected anywhere in the application, not necessarily over the splash screen
itself.

This ensures that the splash screen disappears as soon as the user starts
working with the application instead of sticking around and covering the main
window.

7650eed409 Ensure that wxSplashScreen doesn't appear on taskbar nor in Alt-TAB list. 
Having the splash screen in Alt-TAB window list under MSW was useless and ugly
(as it didn't even have the proper application icon) so use the appropriate
styles to avoid this.

a1b806b982 Replaced Ok() occurrences with IsOk() throughout trunk. 
Additionally renamed wxOSX' private wxNativePrinterDC::Ok() function to IsOk().

Didn't deprecate the various Ok() functions: given the amount of changes already introduced in 3.0 a trivial one like this seems more suitable for after 3.0.

fea35690f1 Added wxMemoryDC::SelectObjectAsSource() and make SelectObject() unshare 
the bitmap to ensure that no other bitmaps are modified; also remove some code
duplication by introducing wxMemoryDCBase (patch 1580745)

c47addef10 wxPoint/Size/Rect() causes the same code with (0,0) initialization and is incomparably more readable and clear.

c2d516f260 Fix for the splashscreen bitmap not showing up in wxGTK. 
NOTE:  This is just a band-aid fix.  Someone (Robert?) should really
check why the wxEraseEvent was not sent to this window at all!

Added wxDisplayChangedEvent and triggering in MSW, when display mode changes
this event gets triggered. I don't know what should happen with other OS's
since I am not familiar with how they handle mode changes.

Watcome Version 11 now compiles with wide character support.

97f1fb1987 Cured a bug in wxSplashScreen whereby frame wasn't sized correctly, 
because SetClientSize doesn't seem to work right unless you pass a reasonable
size to the frame constructor.

33ac7e6f01 Updates to fix Watcom C/C++ 11.0 compiler warning problems. Now compiles
