07e36f9bbf Fix error message for failure to load PNG from resources 
Remove the extraneous comma which replaced the resource name with the
second part of the error message, resulting in confusing output.

See #18773.

f74d756ca5 Use DPI Aware wxGetSystemMetrics 
If no wxWindow is known, use wxTheApp->GetTopWindow().
Also use a wxWindow for all wxSystemSettings::GetMetric calls.

97f73acddb Set HBITMAP and its parameters in one call 
To avoid separate calls to SetWidth/Height/Size/Depth functions after calling SetHBITMAP() use newly implemented InitFromHBITMAP() function which allows to set HBITMAP together with its parameters in one call.

8282c1be0f Remove Windows CE support 
Windows CE doesn't seem to be supported by Microsoft any longer. Last CE
release was in early 2013 and the PocketPC and Smartphone targets supported by
wxWidgets are long gone.

The build files where already removed in an earlier cleanup this commit
removes all files, every #ifdef and all documentation regarding the Windows CE
support.

f1abb351af Remove MicroWindows support. 
MicroWindows (aka Nano-X) support hasn’t been updated since 2010 and last work for it in wxWidgets happened more than 10 years ago.

8f8d58d193 Use wx-prefixed macros throughout the repository. 
Change {DECLARE,IMPLEMENT}_*CLASS and {DECLARE,BEGIN,END}_EVENT_TABLE
occurrences to use the wx-prefixed version of the macros.

261e7eac73 Add RAII AutoIconInfo class wrapping ICONINFO Windows struct. 
This ensures that we never forget to delete the handles returned by
GetIconInfo() and also centralizes the error message given if it fails in a
single place.

279bf9e545 Fix loading of top to bottom BMP files in wxMSW wxBitmap. 
The native LoadImage() function used by wxBMPFileHandler only supports the
standard bottom to top BMPs, fall back to our own implementation in wxImage
wxBMPHandler if it fails to also support the top to bottom ones.

Closes #13650.

3f66f6a5b3 Remove all lines containing cvs/svn "$Id$" keyword. 
This keyword is not expanded by Git which means it's not replaced with the
correct revision value in the releases made using git-based scripts and it's
confusing to have lines with unexpanded "$Id$" in the released files. As
expanding them with Git is not that simple (it could be done with git archive
and export-subst attribute) and there are not many benefits in having them in
the first place, just remove all these lines.

If nothing else, this will make an eventual transition to Git simpler.

973abcbb6a Add wxIcon::CreateFromHICON() to wxMSW. 
Provide a public method properly assigning an HICON to wxIcon, instead of
asking people to call SetHICON() and SetSize().

Closes #15023.

c3f641cb5e Add wxBITMAP_PNG() macro similar to wxBITMAP() but for PNG images. 
Just as wxBITMAP() provides a portable way of loading bitmaps from either
Windows BMP resources or embedded XPM data depending on the platform,
wxBITMAP_PNG() hides the difference between loading bitmaps from PNG resources
under Windows and embedded PNG data elsewhere.

Also add wxBITMAP_PNG_FROM_DATA() macro which always loads PNG data from
memory: it's needed anyhow as part of wxBITMAP_PNG() implementation and some
people may prefer to always use it under all platforms.

Finally modify the image sample to demonstrate loading PNG images from both
resources and memory. This involved creation of a new Windows .rc file for it
and copying its data files to Resources bundle directory under OS X.

017dc06b50 Use wxString::t_str() in calls to Windows API functions in wxMSW. 
Use t_str() instead of wx_str() to make the code work correctly in UTF-8 build
in which wx_str() returns a pointer to UTF-8 buffer while we need a wchar_t
pointer for Windows.

Closes #14371.

a1b806b982 Replaced Ok() occurrences with IsOk() throughout trunk. 
Additionally renamed wxOSX' private wxNativePrinterDC::Ok() function to IsOk().

Didn't deprecate the various Ok() functions: given the amount of changes already introduced in 3.0 a trivial one like this seems more suitable for after 3.0.
