898c3e88e9 Suppress harmless unused variable warnings in wxSocket under AIX. 
The size of the buffer is not used with AIX conventions for gethostbyaddr_r()
and getservbyname_r() functions.

6677f122a1 Fix compilation of wxGethostbyname_r() and wxGethostbyaddr_r() under AIX. 
gethostbyname_r() and gethostbyaddr_r() functions return int, not hostent*,
under AIX so assign their return value to the error indicator.

5fe43b6017 Compilation fix for AIX: fix the name of wxGetservBuf ctor. 
The ctor was wrongly called so wxGetservBuf class couldn't be compiled,
breaking compilation under AIX and any other systems with 4 argument
getservbyname_r().

6178debcd3 Correct format specifiers used to show wxIPV4address. 
wxIPV4address::IPAddress() used %lu to show each of (byte-sized) IPv4 address
components for some reason, which resulted in asserts about format specifier
mismatch. Fix this by just using %u.

Closes #12272.

715e4f7e3e Fix Cygwin 1.7 build. 
Avoid using Cygwin sockets as our code assumes that we use WinSock API under
Windows currently (this might change in the future) by defining
__USE_W32_SOCKETS.

Use new, safer and more efficient cygwin_conv_path() function.

Use t_str() instead of fn_str() with Windows API taking file names, under
Cygwin they are different and using fn_str() is incorrect.

A few other minor fixes.

ed2e973e9f Don't call wxSocketBase::IsInitialized() from worker threads. 
This function should be used in the main thread only and calling it from
wxSockAddress unconditionally resulted in asserts in the unit test.

51fe4b60ab Streamline wxSocket code: wxSocketBase now uses wxSocketImpl (previously known 
as GSocket) which is a base class with various wxSocketImplXXX implementations
provided by different wxSocketManagers.

Share more code between ports (still not finished).

Refactor some code inside wxSocketImpl itself to be less redundant and fixed a
couple of minor bugs in the process.

c9f7896861 first phase of transition to unified Unicode build: 
1. changed c_str() to return wxCStrData (implicitly convertible to wxChar*)
2. added template type-safe wrappers for vararg functions
3. added wxUniChar class representing single Unicode character

ce22d615fe Fix so the Host: header in wxHTTP really works. With virtual hosts it 
is vital that the original host name given in the URL is used in the
Host: header so the sever will use the right vhost config.  Previously
it was using the value returned from gethostbyaddr which will often
not be the same as the hostname in the URL.

acd15a3fa0 1. removed wxObject::CopyObject() and Clone() - some objects just can't be 
copied
2. made wxEvent::Clone() pure virtual and added missing Clone()s to the
   other event classes which this changes has helped to discover
