If nothing else, this avoids 2 calls to each of wxGetDisplaySize() and
wxGetDisplaySizeMM() on each and every wxGCDC construction which are
completely unnecessary as wxGCDCImpl uses its own hardcoded resolution
of 72 DPI, as do some other classes deriving from wxDCImpl.
And even for the classes which do compute these fields using the display
resolution, it may still be unnecessary to do it as they can be never
used if neither GetSizeMM() nor SetLogicalScale() are called on the
corresponding wxDC object.
Finally, this is more than an optimization as when using Cairo-based
wxGCDC without display (which is explicitly supported), calling
wxGetDisplaySize() simply doesn't work at all.
Add wx/gtk/private/wrapgtk.h wrapping gtk/gtk.h in pragmas disabling
these warnings and include it everywhere instead of directly including
gtk/gtk.h.
Also include wx/gtk/private/gtk2-compat.h from this wrapper header as it
was included by 90% of the files including gtk/gtk.h itself and it seems
to be better and simpler to just always include it.
This allows to avoid initializing the variables to 0 in all the
overloaded ctors: wxSize default ctor already does it.
It's also more convenient to use GetScaledSize() rather than assigning
m_width and m_height separately, even if the rest of the code is broadly
unchanged.
We can reuse another ctor taking wxWindow* instead. Although this does
require an ugly cast, it's more explicit than just passing 0 which
could, in principle, match both the ctor taking wxWindow* and another
one taking double, and so is still preferable.
This is similar to the previous commit and is done for the same reasons:
screen DC needs to use the same DPI as the screen itself, instead of the
default Cairo 72 DPI.
For wxDC associated with a window, such as wx{Window,Client,Paint}DC,
this method should return the window PPI, not the hard coded 72 DPI of
Cairo graphics context.
This still doesn't work correctly when using multiple monitors with
different DPI settings, but is still a (modest) improvement.
Drawing on the Cairo surface itself can give invalid results when source and destination regions overlap.
To avoid this problem we have to copy actual source surface to the temporary one and use this copy in drawing operations.
Closes#17666.
While setting a clipping region there is necessary to intersect it either with current clipping region location if such region exists or with wxDC surface extents if no clipping region is set. This way effective clipping box will be always inside the wxDC surface. Effective clipping box can be an empty region.
Clipping box parameters are calculated and stored in logical coordinates.
For a typical scale factor of 2, there won't be any odd-width lines,
and for any factor greater than 1.0, it won't be doing what was intended,
so just don't do it. See #17375
1. Override wxWindow::GetContentScaleFactor() to use gdk_window_get_scale_factor()
when available, and to use correct scale (1.0) otherwise, as wxDC::GetPPI()
(used by overridden method) is not properly implemented for wxGTK
2. Record scale in wxBitmap(wxImage&) ctor and wxBitmap::CreateScaled()
3. Adjust cairo scale for drawing bitmap, and (inversely) for drawing on bitmap
It was assumed that all callers were going to unref the cairo_t, but that is not
true, so callers that are going to unref it should ref it themselves.

This keyword is not expanded by Git which means it's not replaced with the
correct revision value in the releases made using git-based scripts and it's
confusing to have lines with unexpanded "$Id$" in the released files. As
expanding them with Git is not that simple (it could be done with git archive
and export-subst attribute) and there are not many benefits in having them in
the first place, just remove all these lines.
If nothing else, this will make an eventual transition to Git simpler.

This commit is huge but there are no non-white-space changes in it.
Some files containing third-party sources (src/msw/wince/time.cpp,
src/x11/pango*.cpp) were left unchanged.

and thus removed all the duplicated code in all wxDC
classes.
Problematic is that wxSVGFileDC and wxPostscriptDC inherit
from wxDC and therefore include platform specific code
(also before this change) so I chose to override all
SetLogicalOrigin() etc. methods in these classes and
call their wxDCBase methods thereby circumventing the
platform dependent code.
I'm afraid the Mac code will require updating, too.

virtual and implement them like any other method
in the wxDC classes, not only in the their files
but somehow belonging to the wxDCBase class.
This is required for plugging in differnt DC backends
with different conversions.
Ideally (and absolutely possible ) all these methods
should be removed and just the one in wxDCBase
should stay using values set in the various
derived classes.
