Handle "&" in exactly the same way as "&" in wxMarkupParser, i.e. do not
map the former to "&&" to prevent it from being interpreted as a mnemonic as
this is incompatible with using markup for anything but the control labels,
e.g. for wxDataViewCtrl items text, in which mnemonics are not recognized.
And even when using markup for control labels, it was a questionable decision
as it's really not clear at all why should the XML entity and the raw
character itself be handled differently.
Also split wxMarkupText into two classes, wxMarkupText that handles
mnemonics in the markup (which is typically a label) and a very
similar, but not derived, wxItemMarkupText that handles mnemonics-less
markup for list etc. items, uses DrawItemText() and supports
ellipsizing.
Illustrate the use of ampersands in the dataview sample.
Fix wxDataViewTextRenderer to at least partially respect ellipsize mode
when using markup text. Generic implementation only supports
wxELLIPSIZE_END and wxELLIPSIZE_NONE at the moment, but the wxOSX and
wxGTK ones have full support.
Add new method allowing to use wxRendererNative::DrawItemText() for actually
rendering the text instead of wxDC::DrawLabel().
This will be used for markup support in (generic) wxDataViewCtrl.
The two existing structs were completely identical, just replace them with a
single wxItemAttr.
Notice that wxDataViewItemAttr is not quite the same, although pretty similar,
so it remains separate for now. It would be nice to combine it with this one
too in the future, e.g. to make it simpler to make items bold in a wxListCtrl.
wxNotificationMessage has been refactored to always use wxNotificationMessageImpl (this was previously already done in the MSW implementation)
This adds various features and fixes to wxNotificationMessage:
- OS X Notification Center implementation
- Generic "toast" notifications
- SetIcon() to specify a custom icon
- AddAction() to add actions to notifications
- Events to get notify of notification clicks, dismiss or actions
A few $Id$ references remained after commit
3f66f6a5b3 or appeared in newly added files.
Remove the lines containing svn keywords except when it concerns
third-party files. In that case keep the line as-is or collapse it to the
keyword if it had been expanded to contain wx commit information (only
occurs with src/zlib/ChangeLog).
Use both the contents and the header width when wxLIST_AUTOSIZE_USEHEADER is
given instead of just the latter.
Also make both wxLIST_AUTOSIZE_USEHEADER and the previously implemented
wxLIST_AUTOSIZE work efficiently for the virtual list controls by reusing
wxMaxWidthCalculatorBase already used in the generic wxDataViewCtrl.

This is a simple high level helper combining an arbitrary control showing
multiple items with the buttons allowing to add items to and remove items from
this control, but using the buttons and the layout appropriate for the current
platform.
Add the implementation itself, an example of using it to the dialogs sample
and the documentation.

This keyword is not expanded by Git which means it's not replaced with the
correct revision value in the releases made using git-based scripts and it's
confusing to have lines with unexpanded "$Id$" in the released files. As
expanding them with Git is not that simple (it could be done with git archive
and export-subst attribute) and there are not many benefits in having them in
the first place, just remove all these lines.
If nothing else, this will make an eventual transition to Git simpler.

This improves the solution of the problem already solved in r74197 by
separating setting of m_headerWin variable from the window creation instead of
using an explicit recursion check.

The problem (see #11681) was due to not allowing the native control handle the
focus loss event. This, in turn, was due to the changes of r58969 which tried
to work around a crash which happened if the grid was destroyed from the code
of one of the user-defined event handlers called during the editor dismissal.
Fix both problems at once by calling event.Skip() in OnKillFocus() to let the
native handler have the event too and postponing the editor dismissal a little
by calling DisableCellEditControl() indirectly from a posted event handler
instead of immediately.
As this reverts the now unnecessary changes of r64646, it closes#15162.

Return -1 from wxGridRowOperations::GetLineBefore(0) to ensure that we exit
the loop in wxGrid::PosToEdgeOfLine(). Doing this is the logical thing to do
as wxGridColumnOperations::GetLineBefore() already behaved like this and this
was is more expected than returning 0, as the function previously did for some
reason.

We should return -1 from here as there is no column before the first one and

Add a new private wxTextMeasure class implementing methods for measuring text
and move the often duplicated (but not always identically) code for doing the
same from wxDC and wxWindow into it.
Currently this class is only really implemented in wxMSW and wxGTK.
Also extend the test for text measuring functions and rename it to
MeasuringTextTestCase from MeasuringContextTestCase as it's not wxGC-specific
any more.

Mostly copy wxGenericTreeCtrl incremental search implementation to
wxGenericListCtrl (unfortunately there is no simple way to reuse this code
currently), including the recently added EnableBellOnNoMatch() method.
Update the sample to test it, the key event handling in it had to be modified
to allow it.

This resulted in double border around wxListCtrl contents in wxOSX and almost
certainly other ports except wxGTK for which we already had an explicit
preprocessor check in the generic list control code. Remove it and simply
don't use any wxListCtrl-specific styles, including borders, for its main
window as it doesn't make any sense.

Don't override SetFocus() to set the focus to the main window, this isn't
enough as we can be given the focus by the underlying toolkit itself, without
our SetFocus() being called -- this happened in wxGTK when focus was changed
from the keyboard using TAB and in this case it didn't get to the main window
but remaining on the wxListCtrl itself meaning that keyboard input wasn't
processed at all.
Use wxNavigationEnabled<> now to ensure that OnSetFocus() and related methods
do the right thing instead now.
Also get rid of OnSetFocus() in wxListHeaderWindow, it's better to override
AcceptsFocus() to return false to avoid getting focus in the first place.

Take the width of the header itself into account when setting width to
wxLIST_AUTOSIZE.
Also refactor the code to reuse the code used in wxLIST_AUTOSIZE_USEHEADER
case in SetColumnWidth() when inserting or updating the column width to this
value.

Use the column labels to determine the minimal width required by the control
to show them all in full.
Also declare all image list and column-related wxListCtrl methods in
wxListCtrlBase now as we need some of them in DoGetBestClientSize()
implementation.

Define EVT_CHAR_HOOK handlers to ensure that pressing Escape/Return while an
in-place edit control is active affects only it and is not used for the
keyboard navigation.

Include the headers normally included from wx/wxprec.h.
Also define the stuff missing from the headers of some compilers (notably
MinGW but probably also VC6) ourselves.

It can be used to show more customizable tooltips than the native wxToolTip
but at the price of using generic implementation in some cases (actually
almost always now, with the exceptions of text control tooltips under MSW).
Extra features include:
- The balloon-like tooltip form.
- Possibility to show an icon.
- Title display in a different form.
More customization could be added later. It should be also possible to fully
implement this class natively under MSW.
Update the dialogs sample to show the rich tooltips in action.

The hidden columns (i.e. those whose size was set to 0) should be skipped when
find the previous/next column to select when the user presses Left/Right
cursor arrow keys in wxGrid, otherwise the focus could completely disappear as
it was invisible when it was set to a hidden column.

Don't mix up column internal indices and display positions in wxGrid keyboard
navigation code.
This ensures that pressing left/right cursor arrows always moves the cursor to
the previous/next column on the display, even if the columns were reordered.
