17808a7596 move Freeze() and Thaw() to wxWindowBase to ensure that they behave consistently (i.e. recursively, as described in the docs) in all ports; removed different duplications of freeze count from derived classes

937013e0fd 1. added wxEvtHandler::SafelyProcessEvent() and wxWindow::HandleWindowEvent() to correctly handle exceptions in even handlers in wxGTK 
2. use HandleWindowEvent() everywhere as more obvious and convenient shortcut for GetEventHandler()->ProcessEvent(); also for consistency with wxGTK where it's required

44cc96a80c Merged wxRichTextAttr and wxTextAttrEx into wxTextAttr, and added a font table 
to wxRichTextBuffer to reduce wxFont consumption and increase performance.

47a8a4d5cc make IsEnabled() return false even if the window parent, and not the window itself, is disabled and added IsThisEnabled() implementing the old IsEnabled() behaviour; also significantly simplify the window state management code in all ports by factoring out the common parts in wxWindowBase

c68dea664d Undid completely wrong patch 1438117: other platforms do _not_ count 
the visible lines, only the underlying lines. With the patch, you
can't reliably do anything with lines using the other functions.
