c6179a847d 1. added SetSelection() to wxItemContainer and removed its declarations 
from derived classes
2. made wxItemContainer::Select() non virtual: it simply calls SetSelection()
3. renamed wxListBox::SetSelection(n, select) to DoSetSelection() for all
   ports and defined non virtual SetSelection() overloads in the base class
   to avoid virtual functions hiding

584ad2a32f Added some missing STL-like wxArray/wxArrayString constructors. 
Added helper class wxCArrayString, better replacement for
wxArrayString::GetStringArray.
  Added overloaded constructors and Create() methods taking
a wxArrayString for wxCheckListBox, wxChoice, wxComboBox,
wxListBox, wxRadioBox, wxSingleChoiceDialog, wxMultipleChoiceDialog.

da494b405d Added new __WXMOTIF20__ macro, which is true if the Motif version 
is 2.0 or higher.
  Now Motif 2.0 or better (but not Lesstif) uses XmRenderTable instead
of the deprecated XmFontList. This allows underlined text in controls.
  Miscellaneous cleanup; used wxXmString in some more places.

e1aae52885 Implemented DoGetBestSize for wxListBox, (native) wxComboBox and 
wxTextCtrl, and used it when wxSize(-1, -1) is passed to Create, to set
the initial size.
  Added wxDoChangeFont and wxXmStringToString helper functions, removed
the use of m_stringList in native wxComboBox, removed some duplicated code
in wxWindow.

9b1bd0c6e7 Applied patch [ 679397 ] remove GPL code from motif build 
from Ian Brown, with some modifications; this patch replaces the (GPL)
Motif ComboBox with an implementation based on the native (for Motif 2.0)
ComboBox. The old ComboBox is still used as a fallback for older Motif
versions. My modifications include some method's implementation and
some workarounds for LessTif.

ef41d80cdf Refactored wxListBox code so that it correctly implements 
wxControlWithItems, and removed some duplicated code.
Implemented wxCheckListBox using the same technique
as wxGTK.
