This commit fixes a formatting problem with these two files
when built with Doxygen version 1.9.3.
The correct encoding is to escape the quotes and the backslash.
While the older style encoding used to work, it is no longer
supported due to a fix with how a single quote gets handled
by Doxygen. The escaped version works with Doxygen 1.8.17
so this will work fine with the current build version as well as
in more recent versions (tested with 1.9.3).
Closes#22461.
This is just to make all the version information consistent within this
file. This is primarily for properties that were added in a specific
wxWidgets version.
Closes#22456.
Add support for the missing wxBU_NOTEXT style, bitmaps for the other
than default states (pressed, focus, disabled and current) and margins
to wxBitmapXmlHandler.
Note that the images for the other states were previously already
supported by wxBitmapButton XRC handler, but not by the wxBitmap one,
even though both bitmap classes support them.
Closes#22451.
SetIncrement() was already available in wxSpinCtrlDouble and GTK version
of wxSpinCtrl, now implement support for it in wxMSW and wxOSX as well.
In fact, in wxMSW, implement it at wxSpinButton level, so that both this
class and wxSpinCtrl inheriting from it (in wxMSW only) support setting
custom increment now.
Also add support for it to XRC, show it in the sample and add a unit
test verifying that it works.
Closes#2597.
This reverts commit a34ab31453, reversing
changes made to 783df59e66.
Undo the addition of wxBitmapBundle support to XRC, as it is finally
going to be done in a different way soon -- but for now just remove it
to ensure that nobody starts using it before it's finalized.
See #2633.
Closes#22014.
These accelerators are not shown in wxMenuItem label, but still will
work.
Implement support for them in all major ports and XRC.

Set width of the new columns to wxLIST_DEFAULT_COL_WIDTH and not 0 in
the generic version: this is more compatible with the MSW version and
more useful.
Document that omitting list column width in XRC results in columns of
default, rather than null, as previously, width.
These paths are actually URLs and so the special URL characters must be
percent-encoded in them.
Document this and add a test checking that this is how it works.
Closes#19142.
This will allow reusing the same strings in other places.
Also use this as opportunity to add "msw" as the (preferred) synonym for
"win" for general consistency.
This requires refactoring NewCloseButton() in order to extract
CreateCloseButton() from it, as XRC relies on being able to use two-step
creation which was previously impossible for this kind of buttons.
CreateCloseButton() is rather unusual, as it has to be declared in the
derived, platform-specific class, in order to be able to call its
Create(), but is defined only once in common, platform-independent,
code. However the only alternative seems to be to have a static
function, e.g. InitCloseButton(), which wouldn't be very pretty neither.

Since OS X 10.12 it has been named macOS so it makes sense
to reference it in documentation as such, even when it
sometimes refers to older versions which were called (Mac) OS X.
Add a new flag wxXRC_USE_ENVVARS for wxXmlResourceFlags that triggers a
call to wxExpandEnvVars() for bitmap, icon and animation paths.
This flag is not set by default to avoid silently changing the behaviour
of existing applications.
Closes https://github.com/wxWidgets/wxWidgets/pull/1445
Allow specifying label="1" attribute in wxRadioBox <item> tags to
indicate that the usual translation of "_" to "&" should be done, as for
all the other labels.
This is still not the default behaviour to avoid breaking any existing
XRC files using "_", even though using labels="1" by default would make
more sense.
Allow specifying arbitrary windows as labels for the static boxes
created from XRC.
Note that wxStaticBox XRC handler itself wasn't updated to support this,
as this handler seems to be quite useless because it's impossible to
define any box children with it, so only wxStaticBoxSizer XRC handler
really matters, anyhow.
Handle "bitmap" and "bitmapposition" attributes in wxToggleButton XRC handler,
just as it's already done for wxBitmap and wxBitmapToggleButton.
Closes#17850.
Introduce a new type for XRC values imaginatively called just "pair of
integers" which can be used for values not expressed in pixels and hence for
which it doesn't make sense to use dialog units nor to scale them by the DPI.
Use this new type for wxGridBagSizer position and span elements to prevent
them from being changed when using higher than normal DPI.
Closes#17592.
Add XRC handler for wxAuiManager and include the existing wxAuiNotebook
handler into it (but notice that wxAuiToolBar handler added by a later #15686
in f269f868d7 remains separate).
Also update the AUI dialog in the sample and stop hardcoding its size in
pixels.
See #13520.
Call ForceUpper() if this attribute is specified.
Currently this is done only for wxTextCtrl but could be extended to wxComboBox
later too if necessary.
Handle the `<hideitems>` property for sizers and document it.
Also group `minsize` together with `hideitems` in `stdSizerProperties`, which
is used by all sizer classes except `wxStdDialogButtonSizer` in the XRC
schema.
Pixel values in XRC can never be correct for high resolution displays, unlike
the pixel values passed to wxWidgets API, which could be already adjusted to
account for the resolution or obtained from resolution-dependent text metrics,
so scale them by the factor appropriate for the current resolution
automatically.
The shadow width was only used by wxMotif and bezel face not used at all since
a very, very long time, so just remove these methods from the ports which still
had them (just doing nothing) and remove support of the corresponding XRC
attributes.
The only attribute for this control is a boolean "running" which can be set to
start the indicator on load.
Update the schema, documentation and the XRC sample.
