b842f2afa2 Merge branch 'im/menu' of https://github.com/imciner2/wxWidgets 
Make wxEVT_MENU_HIGHLIGHT generation when there is no highlighted item
consistent across all the major ports: use wxID_NONE instead of wxID_ANY
in wxGTK and send these events, which were previously not sent at all in
this case, in wxOSX.

8fbca5cb70 Remove all trailing spaces 
No real changes, just clean up sources by removing trailing spaces from
all the non-generated files.

This should hopefully avoid future commits mixing significant changes
with insignificant whitespace ones.

7d9d5934b5 Document all the strings supported as menu accelerators 
This wasn't documented anywhere until now, so copy the contents of the table
in src/common/accelcmn.cpp to the documentation to have them all in one place.

a193a6786d Escape space after "e.g." or "i.e." in the manual. 
This fixes formatting of the Doxygen-generated docs (maybe we should just
switch to the civilized spelling of "eg" and "ie" instead?).

3f66f6a5b3 Remove all lines containing cvs/svn "$Id$" keyword. 
This keyword is not expanded by Git which means it's not replaced with the
correct revision value in the releases made using git-based scripts and it's
confusing to have lines with unexpanded "$Id$" in the released files. As
expanding them with Git is not that simple (it could be done with git archive
and export-subst attribute) and there are not many benefits in having them in
the first place, just remove all these lines.

If nothing else, this will make an eventual transition to Git simpler.

e3f4ca2e1e Add wxMenuItem::IsCheck() and IsRadio() accessors. 
The latter will be convenient to use in the upcoming changes to wxOSX radio
items management code and add the former for the symmetry.

ce7fe42e84 Provide shorter synonyms for wxEVT_XXX constants. 
Use the same short names as are used by the event table macros for the event
type constants themselves. This makes them much more comfortable to use, e.g.
Bind(wxEVT_BUTTON) compared to Bind(wxEVT_COMMAND_BUTTON_CLICKED).

The old long names are still kept for backwards compatibility and shouldn't be
removed as it doesn't really cost anything to continue providing them, but all
new event types should only use the short versions.

Closes #10661.

3ebf38b3b4 Document that menu item bitmaps must be set before appending them. 
At least in MSW we need to know in advance whether we're going to use normal
items or owner-drawn ones currently.

526954c596 Globally use "wxWindows licence" consistently. 
Use "wxWindows licence" and not "wxWidgets licence" (the latter doesn't
exist) and consistently spell "licence" using British spelling.

e91ce12d73 Mention that stock bitmaps are a wxGTK-only feature for now. 
Apparently people expect to see stock bitmaps under MSW too, make it clear
that they won't be used there.

0f6c9085a5 Consider wxOSX the port name, and have wxOSX/Carbon and wxOSX/Cocoa as variations, so that linkages from function docs are left intact. Also, do a little cleanup and elaborate more in the docs for OS X Cocoa and OS X Carbon.
