This convenient method allows to expand all children of the item
recursively.
This is directly supported by both native implementations, so it makes
sense to have this in wxDataViewCtrl itself, even if it could be also
(less efficiently) implemented in the user code.
GetItemByRow() returned a valid row even for an item which was collapsed
which is clearly inappropriate for its use in GetItemRect(), which is
supposed return an invalid rectangle if the item is not visible. It also
might be inappropriate in other cases, but this is not totally clear and
it seems like it is supposed to return a valid row even for collapsed
items at least sometimes, so just make its behaviour conditional by
adding a new flags parameter to GetItemRect() and to Walker() helper
used by it itself, so that it could skip over collapsed items.
Update the test to show that it succeeds now even when the item is
present in the tree, as it only passed before because the item had never
been expanded at all, and so wasn't really present in the tree
structure and the updated test would have failed without the changes to
the code in this commit.
Remove support for Borland C++ compiler, it wasn't tested since a long
time and probably didn't work anyhow and there was no interest in
keeping support for it since many years.

Ensure that last wxDataViewCtrl columns is always expanded to fit the
control width and a unit test checking for the scenario in which this
wasn't the case before, but is now.

Restore the checks for the model stamp, reverting the changes of
18594afe76: we still need to ignore the
calls to at least iter_children() and iter_nth_child() model methods
that can be called from inside gtk_tree_view_set_model() when we reset
the model, as running these methods crashes when trying to use the
pointers to already deleted items.
For consistency and robustness, add checks for the model stamp to all
the methods and not just those two, just in case other ones end up being
called later in some way.
Also add a unit test checking that DeleteAllItems() doesn't crash and
does delete all items.
Closes#18533.
For some unfathomable reason IsExpanded() returns wrong value for one of
the items. This should be fixed, but for now just leave a warning in the
test but don't fail it.
Also document this bug to at least spare people some surprises.
A couple of fixes compared to the previous commit:
- Use the correct gtk_tree_view_get_cell_area() rather than
gtk_tree_view_get_background_area() which doesn't work correctly
for the items which are not shown because their parent is collapsed.
- Translate logical coordinates to physical ones using
gtk_tree_view_convert_bin_window_to_widget_coords().
With these fixes, the unit tests for this function pass and can now be
enabled under wxGTK as well.
See https://github.com/wxWidgets/wxWidgets/pull/990
This was already the case if the item was not visible because its parent
was not expanded, but now make it also true for the items which are not
visible due to the current scrollbar position.
Add unit tests checking for this and also verifying that GetItemRect()
returns the coordinates in the physical window coordinates.
Replace a redundant (because the same size was already specified in the
ctor) SetSize() call with a Layout() call which resizes
wxDataViewMainWindow to fit the parent control size when using the
generic implementation.
This is important for any tests dealing with the control geometry, i.e.
calling GetItemRect() or HitTest().
Calling GetItemRect() for an item which was not currently visible
because its parent was collapsed resulted in silently returning the
value for a wrong value before the recent fix to GetRowByItem() and in
a crash after it because GetTreeNodeByRow() returned null when passed
invalid row index.
Fix this by explicitly checking whether the item is shown and just
returning an empty rectangle instead.
Also document this behaviour and add a unit test for it.
This keyword is not expanded by Git which means it's not replaced with the
correct revision value in the releases made using git-based scripts and it's
confusing to have lines with unexpanded "$Id$" in the released files. As
expanding them with Git is not that simple (it could be done with git archive
and export-subst attribute) and there are not many benefits in having them in
the first place, just remove all these lines.
If nothing else, this will make an eventual transition to Git simpler.

wxDataViewCtrl::GetSelection() now always returns invalid item if more than
a single item is selected in a multi-selection control.
Also add HasSelection() and GetSelectedItemsCount() to allow checking if any
items are selected.
Updated the documentation, all ports and added a test for all these functions.
