Generic wxDC::DeviceToLogicalRel{X|Y}() and wxDC::LogicalToDeviceRel{X|Y}()
functions don't take into account scaling applied with
wxDC::SetTransformMatrix().
We need to implement in wxDCImpl and its platform-specific derivates
new conversion functions that take all applied transformations into account.
See #18923.
Use a dirty hack to accommodate wxUniv by deriving wxRadioButtonBase
from wxCheckBox, rather than wxControl, there. This is not pretty, but
should be addressed by refactoring wxUniv code and in the meanwhile all
the other ports don't have to bother with using a template class
unnecessarily.
Now that we do have wxRadioButtonBase class, declare wxRadioButton API
methods as pure virtual in it, to force the derived classes to implement
them.
Also remove the outdated comment saying that there is no base class for
wxRadioButtons in different ports, this is not true any longer.
Generic wxDC::DeviceToLogical{X|Y}() and wxDC::LogicalToDevice{X|Y}()
functions don't take into account transformations applied with
wxDC::SetTransformMatrix() so conversion results are invalid if wxDC is
transformed with both e.g. wxDC::SetUserScale() and
wxDC::SetTransformMatrix().
We need to implement functions in wxDCImpl and its platform-specific
derivates to do this conversion with taking into account all applied
transformations.
See #18916.
Check compilation of all wx headers with all gcc warnings enabled.
This should make it impossible to introduce problems that only appear
when -Wpedantic or -Wany-other-not-completely-unreasonable-warning is
enabled when building user code including wx headers again.

Avoid calling GeTDPI() in font.WXAdjustToPPI(GetDPI()); invocations in
common code on platforms that don't need any adjustment (i.e. anything
other than MSW).
This fixes wxOSX crashes when GetFont() is called too early during
window creation, but is the right thing to do regardless.
Closes https://github.com/wxWidgets/wxWidgets/pull/2036Closes#18903.
Also add GlobalPtrLock::GetSize() and use it instead of calling
GetSizeFromBuffer() as it's more direct and doesn't require the use of
::GlobalHandle().
The global wxCurrentPopupWindow used by wxMSW wasn't reset in this case
and resulted in a crash during the next mouse or focus event.
Do it in wxPopupWindow dtor now, and not just when the popup is hidden.
Fix the problem of the access-denied error when using a 'new
window.ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP")' to access URIs from custom
WebView scheme handler of the Internet Explorer WebView.
The solution here is to implement PARSE_SECURITY_URL and
PARSE_SECURITY_DOMAIN in ParseUrl of the IInternetProtocolInfo interface
of the Internet Explorer Control.
The direct implementation of VirtualProtocol::QueryInterface() instead
of using IMPLEMENT_IUNKNOWN_METHODS works, but is not nice. The better
approach would be probably enhancing ADD_RAW_IID to support multiple
inheritance.
Closes#17893.
This reverts commit b0152155c0.
After changing wxWindow::GetContentScaleFactor() to return 1 on
platforms without logical pixels, such as MSW, in the grandparent
commit, make wxDC::GetContentScaleFactor() consistent with it too.
Allow wxPopupTransientWindow to work without wxPU_CONTAINS_CONTROLS too
in wxMSW and don't use wxPU_CONTAINS_CONTROLS by default, notably
allowing wxTipWindow to be shown without stealing focus.
See https://github.com/wxWidgets/wxWidgets/pull/1942Closes#18636.
Don't duplicate practically the same code in all ports, just add m_paths
itself to the base class. The only drawback of doing this is that it's
unused in the ports not (yet) using it, but this saves enough code in
the aggregate to be worth it.
Popups not using wxPU_CONTAINS_CONTROLS were not automatically dismissed
at all any longer, as the only auto-dismissal mechanism related on
getting WM_ACTIVATE, which they never did, so implement a different
logic for dismissing them: do it on any change of focus and also any
mouse press (but not move and not key press neither).
This will allow not using wxPU_CONTAINS_CONTROLS for popups that don't
need focus, but still must disappear on their own.
We need to set the new owner for the TLW, instead of using the new
parent as the actual parent, in the MSW sense, as this results in a
weird situation in which the TLW becomes a child (i.e. non-TLW) window.
Closes#18785.
Apply the utility from https://github.com/codespell-project/codespell/
to fix spelling issues in the headers under both include and interface
directories and add a file with a couple of exceptions.
The exact command line used was:
$ codespell -w -I misc/scripts/codespell.ignore -i 3 in*
The new method allows to set the zoom level more precisely than the
existing SetZoom(wxWebViewZoom).
Also improve the webview sample by using radio menu items instead of
check items and manually resetting them.
Closes https://github.com/wxWidgets/wxWidgets/pull/1894Closes#18769.
This way, other windows (like wxPopupWindow) will also be able to handle DPI events.
Override InheritAttributes() and use it to set the initial DPI values.
Enable warnings for CMake builds and fix some warnings that this
exposed.
Also add wxUSE_NATIVE_DATAVIEWCTRL option and change default GTK version
to 3 for CMake too.

Always set the LB_USETABSTOPS style flag to achieve behaviour more
compatible with other platforms and expand TABs to align them at tab
stops positioned at every 8 characters.
Also add MSW-specific MSWSetTabStops() method allowing to customize tab
stops.
Update the documentation and the sample to demonstrate using TABs.
