730b3d1a44 Allow accepting edit with Numpad Enter key in wxTreeCtrl too 
This key should work in the same way as normal Enter key and accept the
changes.

Closes #18682.

25c9b032a8 Don't call CacheBestSize() from DoGetBestSize() implementations 
This is unnecessary, wxWindow::GetBestSize() already does this, so calling it
from DoGetBestSize() called by it too is just useless.

3f66f6a5b3 Remove all lines containing cvs/svn "$Id$" keyword. 
This keyword is not expanded by Git which means it's not replaced with the
correct revision value in the releases made using git-based scripts and it's
confusing to have lines with unexpanded "$Id$" in the released files. As
expanding them with Git is not that simple (it could be done with git archive
and export-subst attribute) and there are not many benefits in having them in
the first place, just remove all these lines.

If nothing else, this will make an eventual transition to Git simpler.

ce7fe42e84 Provide shorter synonyms for wxEVT_XXX constants. 
Use the same short names as are used by the event table macros for the event
type constants themselves. This makes them much more comfortable to use, e.g.
Bind(wxEVT_BUTTON) compared to Bind(wxEVT_COMMAND_BUTTON_CLICKED).

The old long names are still kept for backwards compatibility and shouldn't be
removed as it doesn't really cost anything to continue providing them, but all
new event types should only use the short versions.

Closes #10661.

2e3407de5c Fix assert when editing an item in multi-selection wxTreeCtrl. 
Don't use GetSelection() in wxTreeCtrl EVT_CHAR_HOOK handler as it can only be
used with single selection controls and results in an assert when used with
multi-selection ones. Simply use GetFocusedItem() instead.

Closes #14062.

64ac3db840 Update all controls using in-place editors to handle Escape/Return correctly. 
Define EVT_CHAR_HOOK handlers to ensure that pressing Escape/Return while an
in-place edit control is active affects only it and is not used for the
keyboard navigation.

Closes #9102.

80fdcdb90e No changes, synchronised source names that appear commented at the top of files with the actual path to the files. 
Fixed commented names (path, filename, and extension) of files in include/ and src/. Prepended the names in src/ with "src/" everywhere, while starting those in include/wx/ with "wx/".

06f1b70464 Avoid collapsing the hidden root in wxTreeCtrl::CollapseAllChildren(). 
The hidden root item can't be collapsed so don't even try to do it as this
just results in an assert.

This is similar to the changes of r48097 in ExpandAllChildren().

Closes #12881.

09f277d683 added a wxTreeEvent ctor taking the associated wxTreeCtrl and optional wxTreeItemId; this reduces code duplication and also allows us to easily ensure that client data pointer is set properly for all events (it was never initialized before) (replaces patch 1503531)

Changed default for WXWIN_COMPATIBILITY_2_4 to 0.

d8d1818419 SetSelection must not send an event. Fixed an off 
by one index, and a crash (probably a Motif bug).
  Improved wxSpinButton appearance.
  Fixed some build warnings here and there in the samples,
removed use of deprecated wxList methods in prntdlgg.cpp, fixed
aot-of-range ID in tipdlg.cpp, fixed some errors detected by
valgrind.
