5f11fef543 use the encoding of the font which is used to draw the text when convering it to UTF-8 in wxGTK_CONV; the old wxGTK_CONV renamed to wxGTK_CONV_SYS (uses system encoding) and used in the contexts where no font is available

ef1717a963 wxDisplay cleanup/rewrite: 
- wxDisplay is now a concrete class and uses a pImpl-based design
- got rid of four duplicate but subtly different versions of trivial
  single display-only wxDisplay implementation (but 2 versions of Mac
  Classic and Mac CoreGraphics implementations each still remain...)
- assorted code simplifications and memory leaks fixes

c232b3cdc6 Respect the REUSEADDR flag to allow rebinding; bind to local port prior to connecting if a local port is specified; add SO_REUSEPORT wherever SO_REUSEADDR is used if SO_REUSEPORT is defined, otherwise reuse fails on BSD systems (e.g. Mac OS X) [ Extension of patch 1415505 ]

27ef4b9b29 I like if things compile with --enable-unicode + --enable-mediactrl. Code shamelessly stolen from src/gtk/app.cpp. 
gst backend of wxMediaCtrl doesn't seem to be able to load files (at least in unicode) though...
