8f3e7ecc5d More refreshes are deferred to idle time. 
Corrected redraw areas of native widgets
    if underlying wxWindows have been exposed.

c89f5c02b1 Added missing test in wxObject::Ref() for already 
equal objects (same m_refData).
  Implemented new ref counting for wxBrush, wxPen
    and wxColour (in addition to wxRegion). Also
    inlined some more functions and implemented
    real comparisons.
  Corrected refresh code to update GTK's window-less
    widgets if overdrawn after a wxWindow::Refresh().

3bcc8d1581 Now updating and clearing are done in a delayed fashion. 
The m_updateRegion gets updated and the (often much
    smaller) m_clearRegion gets cleared. This removes the
    flicker introduced by having delayed updates and
    immediate clearings.

f47ae6e7e9 Added various calls to wxWindow::Update() to 
wxScrolledWindow. This is ONE solution to
    the redraw problem of the new delayed refresh
    code.

beab25bde3 Some changes for new Update/Refresh behaviour. This 
commit actually doesn't change anything. I just cleared
some code and added the new interface. I want this to
be seperate from the commit (if any) that introduces the
new behaviour.

e2762ff06a wxListBox mouse events now report coords relative 
to the whole list box.
  wxRadioButton doesn't emit any event when unpressed.
  Similar correction to wxRadioBox and wxToggleButton.
  Upported change to wxMenuEvent so that the id is
     set in the constructor. Otherwise the EVT_MENU
     macro is pretty useless. Already in 2.2.8.

f94fca1b74 I don't understand the SetIconState code in /src/frome.cpp, but 
I know it is wrong. This also caused the splitter window bug.

513903c4f9 Made wxWindow::Enable recursive in order to solve colouring problems; forced the colour 
of a wxTextCtrl back to the custom colour in wxTextCtrl::Enable. This appears
to fix inconsistent colour problems.

942bef71b0 Applied BMP patch. 
Applied deferred wxBitmapButton patch.
  Added error checking to wxFileStream and wxFFileStream.
  Corrected activate event things.

  All these patches work in the stable branch, the
   dev-branch does not currently compile.
