7d0e6b3c8a Don't use %i format specifier for size_t values. 
In 64 bit build, size_t can be 64 bits while %i expects a 32 bit value.
Fix this by just avoiding the unnecessary use of size_t, the number of entries
in the index is not going to be greater than 2^32.

Closes #16163.

3f66f6a5b3 Remove all lines containing cvs/svn "$Id$" keyword. 
This keyword is not expanded by Git which means it's not replaced with the
correct revision value in the releases made using git-based scripts and it's
confusing to have lines with unexpanded "$Id$" in the released files. As
expanding them with Git is not that simple (it could be done with git archive
and export-subst attribute) and there are not many benefits in having them in
the first place, just remove all these lines.

If nothing else, this will make an eventual transition to Git simpler.

1084433147 No changes, just remove unneeded variable initialization. 
Don't initialize htmlWindowBorder in wxHtmlHelpWindow::Create() just to
overwrite it with another value on the next line.

432d207e1c wxHtmlHelpWindow: Fix contents panel syncing with view. 
Simply opened page notification code. Fix it to really highlight the
page currently visible, instead of the previous one.

Fixes #14320.

a55602fafa Don't use too big width for wxHtmlHelpWindow navigation panel. 
The width of the navigation panel in wxHtmlHelpWindow could become arbitrarily
high if long items used. Avoid this by using a reasonably large but not too
big minimal width instead of determining it automatically from the items width.

Closes #13754.

fc12b1f12a Take void** client data in wxSingleChoiceDialog ctor and not char**. 
The client data is supposed to be untyped, there is really no reason (other
than compatibility with C conventions of 40 years ago) to use char** here.
So don't do it and provide the versions taking "void**" keeping "char**" ones
for backwards compatibility only.

Also deprecate GetSelectionClientData() that returned char* and add a new
GetSelectionData() returning void* instead.

Closes #13876.

b82f92a80c Merge similar but not quite identical translated strings. 
Some translated strings appeared several times in almost but not quite
identical form. Remove a few of them so that they don't have to be translated
multiple times.

a1b806b982 Replaced Ok() occurrences with IsOk() throughout trunk. 
Additionally renamed wxOSX' private wxNativePrinterDC::Ok() function to IsOk().

Didn't deprecate the various Ok() functions: given the amount of changes already introduced in 3.0 a trivial one like this seems more suitable for after 3.0.

ad7922b8aa Increase the number of index items shown by default in wxHTML. 
Consider that small index is up to 1000 items, not up to 100 which is really
too small.

43b2d5e7c3 Put braces around all calls to wxLogFunctions() inside an if statement. 
This suppresses all the remaining g++ -Wparentheses warnings and uses consistent style everywhere.

004867dbc5 Change in wxWindow the access specifier of the wxEvtHandler event processing and queuing functions 
from public to protected. Adapt wxWidgets code and wxWidgets samples to always use wxWindow::GetEventHandler()
when calling such functions on a wxWindow rather than directly using wxWindow::ProcessEvent, etc.
This enables correct event dispatching to the event handlers which have been pushed (with PushEventHandler) on the 
windows.

6f3f9b50aa Made wxBORDER_THEME the same as wxBORDER_DEFAULT 
Moved wxControl::GetBorderStyle into wxWindowMSW::GetBorderStyle
but added GetBorderStyle to have the same behaviour as before (so e.g.
notebook panels don't get borders)
Improved help window borders

ff3e84ffdc File/dir dialog styles and other changes (patch 1488371): 
- check invalid combinations of styles in wxFileDialogBase::Create()
- use wxFD_XXX naming convention for wxFileDialog styles
- replaces wxDD_NEW_DIR_BUTTON with wxDD_DIR_MUST_EXIST
- removes #ifdef __WXGTK24__ / #endif blocks from wxGTK code
- removes wxFileDialogBase::Get/SetStyle and wxFileDialogBase::m_fileName
- renames wxDirDialogGTK to wxDirDialog
