304e5625e5 Disabled horizontal report mode scrolling in wxListCtrl 
as it skrews up the display,
  Corrected disabling the closing of top level window
    when there are open (modal) dialogs,
  Minor change to redrawing window-less widgets.

3d2d8da1d8 Implemented MSW's paint region clipping, but 
it exposed some bug in GTK's guffaw stuff.
  Implmented GC pooling.
  Implemented Corrcet mixing of pain region clipping,
    user clipping and masked bitmap clipping.
  Minor other corrections.

a programmatic change to its scrollbars.

674ac8b919 1. more warnings fixes in gtk/region.cpp and common/tbarsmpl.cpp 
2. wxWindow::Create() always takes a wxValidator parameter, even if
   !wxUSE_VALIDATORS - it is just ignored then, tons of #if wxUSE_VALIDATORS
