5063450e48 Lock m_critsect in POSIX wxThread::Create(). 
This is the documented behavior: all methods accessing m_internal should
lock it.

eaf4bde6e6 Add wxProcess::SetPriority() to allow setting the priority of child processes. 
This uses the same conventions as wxThread::SetPriority() but works on the
entire process.

Closes #14931.

90e95e6117 Rename WXTHREAD_XXX_PRIORITY yo wxPRIORITY_XXX. 
This will allow to reuse the same constants for the process priorities in an
upcoming commit.

89b3361ec2 Fix wrong configure test for abi::__forced_unwind in previous commit. 
The previous commit was accidental and contained an initial version of the
patch which didn't test for NPTL abi::__forced_unwind correctly and just
tested whether cxxabi.h header was available.

Tighten the check to work on the other systems and check for __forced_unwind
existence itself.

Also check for cxxabi.h before testing for __cxa_demangle as there is no need
to try to compile another test program if we already know that this entire
header is unavailable anyhow.

e02ea2030c Rethrow abi::__forced_unwind in wxThread code under Unix. 
We must always rethrow the special abi::__forced_unwind exception when
handling exception in threads under Linux as the NPTL simply terminates the
process at first opportunity if this exception is not rethrown.

da0ee16ef9 Use __DARWIN__ instead of __WXOSX__ in non-GUI code. 
This fixes compilation of non-wxOSX ports (e.g. wxGTK) under OS X.

Also make the difference between the two symbols more clear in the
documentation.

32632baf6d Use pthread_setconcurrency() in wxThread::SetConcurrency(). 
Use POSIX function if available instead of only using Solaris-specific
thr_setconcurrency() which is not found in modern Linux systems any more.

Closes #2115.

e60defcb94 Fix timeout used in POSIX implementation of wxCondition::WaitTimeout(). 
The time passed to pthread_cond_timedwait() must be in UTC, not local time,
but wxGetLocalTimeMillis() now really returns the time in local time zone so
we must use wxGetUTCTimeMillis() instead.

Closes #13707.

b82f92a80c Merge similar but not quite identical translated strings. 
Some translated strings appeared several times in almost but not quite
identical form. Remove a few of them so that they don't have to be translated
multiple times.

b95a7c3144 Allow wxThread::Wait() and Delete() to block, even under wxMSW. 
Add "wait mode" parameter to these methods which can be used to make them
block even under wxMSW where they currently dispatch messages when called
which can be totally unexpected.

Do keep the old behaviour for compatibility however, although it will change i

df191bfe39 Added wxThread::OnKill() and OnDelete() callbacks. 
Call OnXXX() from wxThread::Kill() and Delete() respectively to allow the
thread being terminated perform some cleanup.

Closes #9046.

ce00f59b5b No changes whatsoever, just remove trailing whitespace. 
There are no real changes in this commit but it removes all trailing white
space from our source files. This avoids problems when applying patches and
making diffs and it would be nice to prevent it from reappearing.

feedacd880 Include sys/time.h from threadpsx.cpp for all systems. 
It's needed by Linux and QNX and shouldn't do any harm under the others.

2450225e87 Don't lock global mutex when deleting wxThread to avoid deadlocks. 
Calling out the user-defined wxThread dtor while holding gs_mutexDeleteThread
lock is a bad idea as it may result in deadlocks if the dtor deletes another
thread. Only lock the mutex directly before manipulating the data it protects.

f922638305 Added wxThread::GetMainId(). 
This is useful for checking if a message was logged from the main thread or not and also allows us to implement IsMain() by comparing GetCurrentId() with GetMainId() in all ports and avoid repetition.
