5e27ff410c Fix building wxToolTip with GTK+4 
gtk_settings_set_long_property() is no longer available. The properties
"gtk-enable-tooltips" and "gtk-tooltip-timeout" are ignored since GTK+
3.10, so just don't compile that code with GTK+4.

d6af0236c5 Simplify GTK+ 2 version checks with a helper function 
Use wx_is_at_least_gtk2(minor) instead of gtk_check_version(2, minor)
because it is more clear and also works as expected (i.e. returns true)
when using GTK+ 3 instead of creating difficult to notice bugs in the
code by failing the version check in this case.

See #18004.

8f8d58d193 Use wx-prefixed macros throughout the repository. 
Change {DECLARE,IMPLEMENT}_*CLASS and {DECLARE,BEGIN,END}_EVENT_TABLE
occurrences to use the wx-prefixed version of the macros.

3f66f6a5b3 Remove all lines containing cvs/svn "$Id$" keyword. 
This keyword is not expanded by Git which means it's not replaced with the
correct revision value in the releases made using git-based scripts and it's
confusing to have lines with unexpanded "$Id$" in the released files. As
expanding them with Git is not that simple (it could be done with git archive
and export-subst attribute) and there are not many benefits in having them in
the first place, just remove all these lines.

If nothing else, this will make an eventual transition to Git simpler.

Closes #14487.

853149575e Switch to GtkTooltip from deprecated GtkTooltips in wxGTK wxToolTip. 
Don't use deprecated GtkTooltips in wxGTK code any more, use the new
GtkTooltip instead.

Closes #12034.

dcf924a345 Added zillions of #if wxUSE_XXX 
Removed cmndlgs usage of wxSizer and constraints
  Changed occurences of wxConv_xxx to wxConvXxxx and
    changed some wxConvLibc to wxConvCurrent
  Added Unicode tests to typetests (not finished)
  Compile fix for wxString in Unicode mode - we have
   to use the "experimental" printf then, I guess.

05939a8140 OK, while I wait for the non-Unicode build to compile, I can report 
that now all files in gtk/ compiles in Unicode mode. unix/ is still
missing, but that probably wouldn't take too long.
