63ec432bd7 Move constant strings to .rodata/.data.rel.ro ELF segment from .data by making them really const. 
If any more exotic toolchain decides to not export these strings into the core library anymore, let me know. Try to
compile the notebook sample, for example.
TODO: Move strings not meant for wxCore out of wxCore to the appropriate library.

21e0a4d5f1 1. moved m_majorDim duplicated in many ports to wxRadioBoxBase 
2. also implement Getcolumn/RowCount() in it now and document them
3. removed various remains of old (pre-wxRadioBoxBase) cruft

sorry in advance for any compilation breakage on the platforms I can't test on

3b60ea2f22 Make wxToolBar accept first mouse clicks. That is, clicking on a toolbar 
tool when the window is inactive will both activate the window and cause
the tool to be clicked.
TODO: User should be provided a way to override this behavior.  The Apple HIG
are basically that "dangerous" tools (like delete) should not function
on an inactive window.

acb96ac277 Add EndDialog helper which calls EndModal with the given return code if the 
dialog is modal, and Show(false) if the dialog is not modal.  This allows
the default handlers for OK and Cancel to function without assertions.
This code is copied more or less directly from src/msw/dialog.cpp.

070b7b8510 Set m_cocoaDataSource = NULL in default constructor so subclasses that

c6179a847d 1. added SetSelection() to wxItemContainer and removed its declarations 
from derived classes
2. made wxItemContainer::Select() non virtual: it simply calls SetSelection()
3. renamed wxListBox::SetSelection(n, select) to DoSetSelection() for all
   ports and defined non virtual SetSelection() overloads in the base class
   to avoid virtual functions hiding

3e21fc053d Moved Clear() implementation into wxDC using a new virtual CocoaGetBounds() 
to determine the rect to clear.  Also added CocoaUnapplyTransformations()
to bring the coordinate system back into Cocoa coordinates for those
cases such as Clear() where it makes more sense.

4db3c8ac63 Separate NSAffineTransform creation out of wxDC::CocoaApplyTransform into 
static wxDC::CocoaGetWxToBoundsTransform.  Create the transform and store
it as a member variable in wxDC when focus is locked on the DC.
For wxClientDC and wxPaintDC call a new wxWindow::CocoaGetWxToBoundsTransform
which will eventually handle scrolling.

34c9978dac Add new methods to transform coordinates expressed in Cocoa's bounds rect to 
and from those expressed in wxWidgets fashion.  Use these new methods to do
the translation for mouse events, child window position, and dirty rects.
Also improve DoMoveWindow to only dirty the old and new rects of the
control within its superview rather than the entire superview.

d8fdd58fa3 Add constructor and Set taking NSColor. 
Change eqauality operator to check if the NSColor objects are the same
instance or if all of the color components (m_red/green/blue) are identical.
