Add wxXSync class which adds delays between the synthesized events
sufficient for them to be processed by the higher layers (X, GTK).
This makes it possible to run the UI tests by default with wxGTK.

Collapsing a branch shouldn't deselect all the items under it in
multi-selection mode: this doesn't seem to be useful or otherwise make
sense and makes the generic version gratuitously incompatible with the
native MSW one.
Closes#10239.
Closes https://github.com/wxWidgets/wxWidgets/pull/1581
This seems to be the case under all still supported MSW versions, so
remove the note saying that the events might not be sent from the
documentation and add a unit test verifying that they are indeed sent.
Contrary to what the documentation stated previously, this function does
generate the wxEVT_TREE_DELETE_ITEM events for all the items being
deleted, in both MSW and generic implementations.
Update the documentation and add a new unit test checking that the
behaviour really conforms to it.
A '-' keypress doesn't collapse a tree item with the native MSW tree
control. Instead, when not using the generic tree control, simulate a
keypress of WXK_LEFT to collapse the root item . This fixes the assert
checking if the root item is collapsed after the keypress.
Regression since 9d7a7ec556 (which
mistakenly may have had treectrltest.cpp as part of its commit).
We were getting an extra event under MSW if the control was initially
unfocused, so do focus it. This is a work around as the extra event shouldn't
occur but I'm too afraid of changing wxMSW code itself so close to 3.0.

This keyword is not expanded by Git which means it's not replaced with the
correct revision value in the releases made using git-based scripts and it's
confusing to have lines with unexpanded "$Id$" in the released files. As
expanding them with Git is not that simple (it could be done with git archive
and export-subst attribute) and there are not many benefits in having them in
the first place, just remove all these lines.
If nothing else, this will make an eventual transition to Git simpler.

Use the same short names as are used by the event table macros for the event
type constants themselves. This makes them much more comfortable to use, e.g.
Bind(wxEVT_BUTTON) compared to Bind(wxEVT_COMMAND_BUTTON_CLICKED).
The old long names are still kept for backwards compatibility and shouldn't be
removed as it doesn't really cost anything to continue providing them, but all
new event types should only use the short versions.

Fixing the implicit focus grabbing by wxTreeCtrl::SelectItem() in r65905 broke
its unit test case as the simulated key event was not delivered to wxTreeCtrl
itself any more.
Fix this by simply setting the focus to the tree explicitly before sending it
any key strokes.

Add a lot of tests for many wx GUI classes.
Add tests using the new wxUIActionSimulator class but disable them under OS X
as too many of them currently fail there.
Refactor the test suite to make organizing the existing tests and adding the
new ones easier.
Improve documentation using the information gathered while testing the
classes. Also update the documentation of the testing system itself.
