e563066c76 Avoid gcc -Wstrict-alias=2 warnings in wxAny 
While wxWidgets itself is compiled with -fno-strict-aliasing, the user code
including wx headers can be compiled without it and, worse, even with
-Wstrict-aliasing=2 which would give tons of warnings (two for each
instantiation of the template class) of possibly breaking strict aliasing rule.

Fix this by using a union to cast between two pointers of different types
instead of using a reinterpret cast.

d2c1fce24e Further work around for clang warnings about typeid() side effects. 
Apparently in some versions of the compiler even simply dereferencing a
pointer inside typeid() still provokes -Wpotentially-evaluated-expression.
Avoid this by dereferencing it outside and only using typeid() with
references.

Closes #16968.

5aae7c7387 Work around clang warning about side effects inside typeid(). 
This warning was harmless but very annoying as it was given for each and every
inclusion of this header.

f4b80e5337 Remove MSVC6 support. 
Don't support this compiler any more, this allows to get rid of tons of
MSVC6-specific workarounds, in particular we can now use Bind() and natural
template functions calls in the library code.

Also remove MSVC6 project and solution files and don't generate them when
bakefile_gen is ran any more (removing the remaining occurrences of msvc6prj
from the bakefiles results in weird bake-time errors, so it's simpler to just
leave them there).

3f66f6a5b3 Remove all lines containing cvs/svn "$Id$" keyword. 
This keyword is not expanded by Git which means it's not replaced with the
correct revision value in the releases made using git-based scripts and it's
confusing to have lines with unexpanded "$Id$" in the released files. As
expanding them with Git is not that simple (it could be done with git archive
and export-subst attribute) and there are not many benefits in having them in
the first place, just remove all these lines.

If nothing else, this will make an eventual transition to Git simpler.

33f9dbda89 Add wxGCC_WARNING_{SUPPRESS,RESTORE} macros and use them for -Wfloat-equal. 
Suppress the warnings about comparing floating point values for equality in
wxWidgets headers when the user code is compiled with -Wfloat-equal (at least
when using g++ 4.6 or later).

Closes #14895.

94cd7b004d Use placement new when storing value in wxAnyValueBuffer. This should allow using any data type, regardless whether it is Plain Old Data or copyable or not.

153107b402 Allow wxAny to contain 'const char*' or 'const wchar_t*'. This was previously not possible since these pointers were converted to wxString, as convenient means to work with string literals. Now pointers (to string literals) are stored instead, and As<wxString>(), comparison operators do the type conversion.

0bf14ab8b1 wxVariant <-> wxAny conversion functionality. Includes implicit construction of wxAny from wxVariant, and vice versa. wxVariant->wxAny conversion is implemented by adding new virtual member function into wxVariantData. wxAny->wxVariant conversion is implemented by associating wxAnyValueTypes with functions that generate wxVariantData instances (using a hash map).

45de347c10 Put wxAny implementation entirely in the header. 
This allows to remove WXDLLIMPEXP_BASE from the class declaration and should
hopefully fix VC6 linking errors when building the unit test.
