c9f7896861 first phase of transition to unified Unicode build: 
1. changed c_str() to return wxCStrData (implicitly convertible to wxChar*)
2. added template type-safe wrappers for vararg functions
3. added wxUniChar class representing single Unicode character
4. changed wxString::operator[] and wxString::iterator to return wxUniChar

395e0a70ba Don't steal VK_RETURN for wxEVT_COMMAND_LIST_ITEM_ACTIVATED if any of 
the modifier keys is pressed.  This let's RETURN+Modifier be used as
a normal accelerator key when the list ctrl has the focus.

e2bc1d6981 Initial commit of native OS X list ctrl support. Compile tested on Win, Mac, FC4/GTK2. Tested samples on Win and OS X. Also, support for co-existance of native and generic list ctrl on OS X.

90c6edd706 TLW default item changes have changed Enter key processing: it was now handled as TAB even for controls such as wxTree/ListCtrl which need it themselves; fix this by checking for VK_RETURN in these classes MSWShouldPreProcessMessage() implementation; also removed specific test for wxTextCtrl in wxWindowMSW::MSWProcessMessage() and simplified its code

e6b1317b79 modified custom draw code to fully draw the items using a font with encoding different from the system one as the native list control ignores the font encoding; seems to finally work somehow but there is still horrible flicker as the items seem to be redrawn on every mouse move over them, no idea how to avoid this

05886ed3f2 Enable wxListCtrl in report mode to be able to use images in other 
columns, if ComCtl32 >= 470.  All it needed was to add the
LVS_EX_SUBITEMIMAGES style, everything else was already in place, and
the generic control already supports it too.

6e21a3db8a Revert last change, which made it impossible to set a custom text color and then query the color. Instead, set the correct system/theme color when the control is created and use the original GetTextColour method.
