Add wxFileDialog::GetCurrentlySelectedFilterIndex() similar to the
existing GetCurrentlySelectedFilename(), which can be used to retrieve
the index of the currently selected filter and update the state of the
extra controls in wxFileDialog accordingly.
Implement this for wxMSW only by updating the internally stored value
from the native CDN_TYPECHANGE notification and also generating a
wxEVT_UPDATE_UI event to allow the extra controls to update themselves.

All relatively recent SDK versions have the up-to-date definition of struct
OPENFILENAME, so we don't need to provide our own one.
Also, wxWidgets applications don't run under Win9x any longer, so there is no
need to fall back to comdlg32.dll v4 which was used there during run-time.
Sometimes the file dialog changes the current directory even if it is
cancelled, so restore it in any case, not only after successful return.

Ensure that the correct parent is used when no parent is explicitly specified
by calling GetParentForModalDialog().
This generalizes baff0c942b (see #17384) to the
rest of the modal dialogs (wxMessageDialog already did this).

Windows CE doesn't seem to be supported by Microsoft any longer. Last CE
release was in early 2013 and the PocketPC and Smartphone targets supported by
wxWidgets are long gone.
The build files where already removed in an earlier cleanup this commit
removes all files, every #ifdef and all documentation regarding the Windows CE
support.

A condition was checking for the wrong CDN_XXX message range resulting in CDN_INITDONE and CDN_SELCHANGE no longer being processed. Broken since r75937 (branches/WX_3_0_BRANCH/) and r75941 (trunk/).

This style tells the dialog to return the paths of the link being selected
without dereferencing it.
Currently only implemented under wxMSW as the links are not dereferenced by
default in wxGTK anyhow. But we may want to change this and implement it there
too for consistency in the future.

We can receive WM_NOTIFY for other than CDN_XXX messages if we have a native
control as our immediate child (which can happen with "extra" controls) and
the LPARAM is not a pointer to OFNOTIFY at all in this case, so don't try to
use it as such.
This fixes a crash when adding a "bare" extra control, see #16003.

This keyword is not expanded by Git which means it's not replaced with the
correct revision value in the releases made using git-based scripts and it's
confusing to have lines with unexpanded "$Id$" in the released files. As
expanding them with Git is not that simple (it could be done with git archive
and export-subst attribute) and there are not many benefits in having them in
the first place, just remove all these lines.
If nothing else, this will make an eventual transition to Git simpler.

Also send wxEVT_UPDATE_UI events for the extra controls in wxFileDialog.
The combination of these changes allows extra controls to update their state
depending on the current selection in the dialog. Show a simple example of
doing it in the dialogs sample.

Extract wxModalDialogHook from wx/testing.h into its own wx/modalhook.h,
extend it to allow to be notified not only about showing modal dialogs but
also about dismissing them and document it and show its use in the dialogs
sample.
Also replace all the WX_TESTING_SHOW_MODAL_HOOK macros occurrences with
WX_HOOK_MODAL_DIALOG.

Use t_str() instead of wx_str() to make the code work correctly in UTF-8 build
in which wx_str() returns a pointer to UTF-8 buffer while we need a wchar_t
pointer for Windows.

Since Windows 7 exceptions thrown in a file dialog callback (possibly by third-party utilities) aren't swallowed anymore. Make use of SetProcessUserModeExceptionPolicy (available in Windows 7 SP1) to temporarily restore the old behaviour and prevent the crashing (or summoning of the Program Compatibility Assistant) of an x64 application.

Applied patch by snowleopard2 fixing a bunch of typos such as misspellings and double words in the documentation. Combined the patch with some local queued typos waiting to be committed as well as adding new typo fixes inspired by the patch.
Function names with American spelling were not changed nor was third-party code touched. The only code changes involve some changes in strings that are translated ("Can not" -> "Cannot").

wxFileDialog::GetPath() didn't return the value set by a previous call to
SetPath() in wxMSW version. Fix this and also implement SetPath() and
SetDirectory() methods in the generic versions in the same way as
SetFilename().
